The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the President of Uzbekistan
On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and to all the fraternal people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. "Throughout these years, our bilateral fraternal relations based on the principles of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual trust, rooted in history, have been continuously developed, covering more and more new areas of cooperation. I would like to note with satisfaction that the content of Turkmen-Uzbek relations today is conditioned by full mutual understanding of the views on the priorities and prospects of intergovernmental cooperation, as well as the trends of global development. Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are united by the fact that their approaches to the main issues of international life are close or coincide. This is clearly manifested in the cooperation of the countries established on a systemic basis within the framework of international and regional structures. Turkmen-Uzbek trade and economic relations are being dynamically developed, mutual trade turnover is constantly increasing, and cooperation in the energy, transport, communication and agricultural sectors is being actively expanded. Bilateral relations in the fields of culture, science, and education are being successfully improved. This serves as a bridge for the rapprochement of our peoples, the strengthening of mutual friendship and good neighborliness between them," the Turkmen leader said in his message and expressed confidence that the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be further developed as a result of joint efforts. Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, the esteemed President wished sound health, happiness and prosperity to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and continued prosperity and well-being to the fraternal people of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
