The President of Turkmenistan made a working trip to the Mari Velayat
On February 7, the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived at Ashgabat International Airport and left for Mary Velayat on a business trip. The plane of the esteemed President, headed for Mary Velayat, landed at the international airport of Mary. The Turkmen leader was warmly welcomed here. The esteemed President held a business meeting dedicated to the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the province, as well as to the issues of further socio-economic development of the country's regions. Issues related to the comprehensive development of the country's regions are always in the center of attention of the esteemed President. The conditions created for productive work, the integrated nature of the reforms aimed at improving the living standards of the population in the velayats have positive results. During the business meeting, the esteemed President first gave the floor to the Vice Premier of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov. The Vice-Premier reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work currently being carried out in the country, in particular, in Mary velayat. Also, the Vice-Premier reported on the ongoing work to ensure normal water flow in the rivers crossing the territory of the country, to strengthen their banks, and to clean water channels and dams. Then Vice Premier Ch.Purchekov reported on the state of work being carried out in the industrial and construction sector of the country. Then the Secretary of the State Security Council, the Minister of Defense B. Gundogdiyev reported on the implementation of the Military doctrine of the country, which has only a defensive character. After listening to the report, the esteemed President emphasized the importance of the work being carried out in this area and gave relevant instructions to the Secretary of the State Security Council and the Minister of Defense. Then the esteemed President addressed D. Orazov, the head of the state committee on the construction of the center of Ahal Velayat, who is participating in the business conference. Orazov reported on the state of affairs in the organization he leads. Then hyakim of Mary Velayat D. Annaberdiyev reported on seasonal agricultural activities. A report was also given on the hydrotechnical measures being taken to strengthen the banks of the rivers crossing the territory of the province. The mayor also reported on the measures taken for high-quality and timely implementation of large-scale construction works in the territory of the velayat in accordance with the program of socio-economic development of the country and the national program of villages. The Turkmen leader familiarized himself with the ongoing work on strengthening the banks of the Garakum River, which flows through the territory of the velayat. Appropriate work is being done to ensure normal water flow in the river and powerful machinery is being operated effectively. In this regard, advanced methods and innovative technologies that comply with environmental standards are introduced into the water economy sector. All of these contribute to the rapid development of the entire agro-industrial complex and the improvement of the standard of living of the villagers. After completing his business trip to Mary Velayat, the esteemed President arrived at Mary International Airport, and from there the plane of head of state headed for our capital. Later, the esteemed President's plane landed at Ashgabat International Airport.
