Japan's JETRO may open a new window of opportunity for Turkmen business

On Wednesday, the head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov met With Nobuhiko Sasaki, General Executive Director of the Japan Organization for the Development of Foreign Trade (JETRO), with whom he discussed the opening of a JETRO office in Turkmenistan.
ORIENT explains what opportunities JETRO opens up for Turkmen business and what can be expected from the establishment of a representative office of the organization in the country.
First of all, JETRO is able to open access for Turkmen businessmen to the Japanese market, and Japanese — to the Turkmen market.
JETRO helps foreign companies to open and expand business in Japan, provides free office space in leading business centers and provides access to information about Japanese business.
The main goal of the organization is to promote the development of international trade and the growth of the world economy. Together with similar organizations, JETRO explores the global economy, trade and investment, the results of which contribute to the development of trade and international business.
The partnership with JETRO promotes the development of beneficial trade relations between Japan and other countries. Today, the organization has more than 70 offices around the world.
"We at JETRO are happy to welcome international companies to Japan! Japan is an ideal country for innovation, offering all the business opportunities and a vibrant business environment, the equal of which is not in the world," says JETRO Chairman Hiroyuki Ishige.
