Emelianenko was defeated in the last fight of his career


Russian mixed martial artist Fedor Emelianenko was defeated by American Ryan Bader in the main fight of the Bellator 290 tournament, which took place on February 5 in Inglewood (USA).
The American fighter made a series of crushing blows to Emelianenko, knocking out the Russian in the first round 2 minutes and 30 seconds after the start of the fight.
Thus, Bader retained his championship belt, and Emelianenko announced his retirement after the fight.
Emelianenko suffered his seventh defeat in MMA with 40 victories. The duel with Bader was his last in his professional career.
Bader won his 31st career victory with 7 losses and defended the Bellator Heavyweight Championship.
The fighters previously met in January 2019. Then Bader knocked out Emelianenko in the first round.
