BelTA journalists are the winners of the contest for covering scientific achievements
Journalists of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA won the contest for the best presentation of scientific achievements in 2022 in the media, held by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Valeria Gavrilova, editor of the Economic Information Department of the main information office of BelTA, won the nomination "Best presentation of the achievements of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on the Internet". Snezhana Mikhailovskaya, a columnist for the editorial board of the Belarusskaya Dumka magazine, was awarded "The best publication in a popular science publication".
"If we want to bring our achievements to the public, we must first work with journalists," Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov addressed the winners and wished them creative success in popularizing Belarusian science.
The creative contest of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which is being held for the 13th time, also included the categories "Best Publication", "Best Story (program) on Radio and Television", and the Internet category.
A total of 126 works by 38 authors were received.
