The Turkmen university will hold the Olympiad for the first time with the offline participation of foreign students


The International University for the Humanities and Development is organizing a Mathematical Olympiad, which for the first time will be attended by students of foreign universities, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of IUHD Habib Halmamedov said in an interview with the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The III Open Mathematics Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS), which was previously held with the participation of students from abroad in an online format, will be organized offline this year and will bring together participants from prestigious universities located in different countries of the world in Ashgabat on April 23-28, Halmamedov said.
The Olympiad is held to strengthen relations between students and teachers of universities in different countries, to promote the training of highly educated, broad-minded specialists who are well versed in modern innovative technologies.
Those wishing to participate in the Olympiad need to register from February 1 to March 30 through the official IUHD website. The results of the Olympiad will be determined by the sum of personal and team points. The winners of the Olympiad will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, diplomas of the corresponding degrees of distinction, as well as valuable memorable gifts.
