Students of Ashgabat School № 87 have won prizes at several international Olympiads


The students of Ashgabat secondary specialized school № 87 with in-depth study of languages won prizes at several international Olympiads that took place in early 2023, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes today.
Students Davut Allalyev and Shirmyrat Geldiev took second and third places at the international online English language competition "Anglius". The main goal of the Olympiad was to motivate young children to learn English.
Earlier, three representatives of the same school took part in the World Young Biologist Olympiad, which was attended by schoolchildren from 20 countries, including Poland, India, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Mexico, UAE, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, etc., 10th and 11th grade students, Selbi Orazgeldyeva and Aknur Garlyeva were awarded gold medals, and ninth grader Mahriban Shohradova was awarded silver.
Also recently there was a publication of the results of the World Mathematics Team Championship, which was attended by hundreds of the strongest young students from 17 countries of the world. The best expert of the "queen of sciences" was a student of the 7th grade of Ashgabat school № 87 from Turkmenistan, Rejepmammed Babishev, who was awarded a gold medal.
