The Turkmen athlete will take part in the opening stage of the season of the prestigious Karate 1 Premier League tournament series, which will be held from January 26 to 31 in Cairo (Egypt).

As ORIENT was told in the Karate Federation of Turkmenistan, the only representative of the country at the upcoming tournament will be Davut Nazmyradov, who will go to the championship under the leadership of Bayram Yalkapov.

― This League accepts karatekas who occupy leading positions in the world rankings. Such was Davut Nazmyradov. We expect good results from him, and most importantly - victory, - the representative of the Karate Federation of Turkmenistan shared with us.

Davut Nazmyradov is a participant in prestigious international tournaments in Turkey, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Chile, Italy, where he won cups and medals of various denominations. He is a 2nd year student at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The tournament itself represents a series of Karate competitions -1, which are held under the auspices of the International Karate Federation. The Turkmen athlete will take part in the most prestigious of them - the Premier League.

In addition to him, 427 karatekas from 61 countries have entered the tournament. Subsequent stages of the league will continue in Rabat (Morocco, May 12-14), Fukuoka (Japan, June 9-11) and Dublin (Ireland, September 8-10).
