The management of the Dynamo Moscow stadium decided to memorize the historical contribution of athletes and club officials to the victory over the fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War. A memorial plaque was solemnly opened on the territory of the sports complex. A heritage plaque includes the names of athletes who were members of the first units of a separate motorized rifle brigade of special purposes that were formed at the stadium in 1941 and took part in the Great Patriotic War.

Meanwhile, many fans of the Spanish Barcelona are in a mild shock and drag their brains about the reasons of the club’s poor start to the season.
The Catalans, who have failed to win any of their last seven away games in all competitions, are seventh in the La Liga standings with just seven (!) points after five matches.
The result marks the worst start to a La Liga season in 25 years for the Catalan giants. Let us hope that the team would really take a hard look at themselves if they are to improve and to be at leading record in the league in future again to satisfy the blue-garnet fans.
Recently, a dog hypnotist’s appearance on Russian state television has made an internet comeback thanks to the dog’s uncanny ability to put any human to sleep by simply looking into their eyes. A black Pomeranian made her Russian television debut on “Amazing People,” a program that highlights people – and apparently pets – with “extraordinary abilities.”
Football coach Leonid Slutsky, who currently manages Dutch football club Vitesse, showed that he also has his own dog hypnotist. In a comic video, the famous Berezutski brothers, who played for Moscow CSKA, and their family members can be seen gazing into the pup’s eyes, almost instantly falling asleep afterward.
It remains to add that after awakening, both brothers will continue to work as assistant coaches to Leonid Slutsky.
The fourth racket of the world Russian Daniil Medvedev reached the final of the tournament in St. Petersburg. A video of a very spectacular blow by a Russian Tennis player was on Tennis TV on Instagram with comments: “Daniil Medvedev is not human”.

In the run-up to the regular President’s Cup international tournament, the ceremonial reception of the leaders of the national Sambo federations, athletes, referees and other participants of the competitions took place in the City Hall of Ballymena, Northern Ireland, UK. In recent years, this type of martial arts is gaining more and more popularity in the world and the number of Sambo fans is growing exponentially.
Increasingly, the most influential persons stand for the inclusion of Sambo martial arts competition in in the program of the Olympic Games. The President of the Commonwealth Sambo Association Michael Wynn-Parker, said: “It’s no secret that the tournament we are holding for the sixth time on our islands and the second in Ballymena is designed to increase the popularity of Sambo. And it seems to us that it is coping with its main mission – competition is growing, fights are becoming more exciting, people are interested in sports. ... Internationally Sambo continues to gain recognition. We are working hard to make Sambo and Olympic sport and hopefully, by the time we are ready to celebrate our centenary as a martial art, we will have gained full Olympic approval.”
Let us remind that Sambo will be as a demonstration sport at the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Haas F1 Team driver Romain Grosjean has not shown any significant result for a long time and there were question marks about whether he’d be retained for a fifth straight season in 2020.
Grosjean says he was in two minds about whether to continue in Formula 1 until he talked about it with his young son. Haas F1 Team driver explained he had been considering moving into other championships. However, he realized he wanted to stay in Formula 1 while talking to his son Sacha. “It made the switch in my mind when I spoke with my six-year-old son in the car,” Grosjean explained. “We were driving and he says, “Daddy, I want to come see you in Formula 1 next year, I have never seen a grand prix”. “I’ve always stated that it was my desire to remain with Haas F1 Team and I’m naturally very happy to continue to be a part of that,” Grosjean, a 10-time F1 podium finisher, said.
