Turkmen kick-boxers will perform at the X World Cup Diamond
The Kickboxing X World Cup Diamond will be held in the Russian city of Anapa on the Black Sea coast on September 24-29. The tournament, which is respected among the strongest kickboxing schools, brought together athletes from 20 countries.
Turkmenistan is represented by 18 kick-boxers. Almost each of them has repeatedly participated in major international competitions, and they also include the winners of world championships and the World Cup holders.
In a short but intense period of preparation for the X World Cup Diamond, our athletes made a lot of effort.
The world ranking of participants in the competition for the World Cup is very high, and the fight will be temse.
- But our team members are ready to demonstrate all their capabilities to fight on equal terms with the strongest kick-boxers on the planet, Alexander Snagovsky, Head Coach of the National Team of Turkmenistan says.
Turkmenistan National Team members will perform in such events as full contact, low kick, light contact and K-1. It should be noted that Turkmen athletes have already become winners of the X World Cup Diamond in 2010.
The Kickboxing Federation of Turkmenistan was established in 1992. and is a member of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO). Over the past years, the country has established a rather internationally competitive kickboxing school with its well-developed training methodology, sports traditions, as well as high achievements. And ORIENT really hopes that these successes will be continued.
