Defender of the Fatherland Day celebrated in Turkmenistan
The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, in accordance with which for the great personal contribution to strengthening the independence and sovereignty, strengthening the defense capability, territorial integrity and constitutional order of neutral Turkmenistan, ensuring security, public order and legality, for the exemplary performance of military duties and high performance in combat training, given the many years of impeccable service to the sovereign Fatherland, our courageous people, for conscientious and exemplary work, special services to the state and people, great successes achieved in fruitful state and public activities, and also in honor of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland group servicemen and employees of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country was awarded state medals of Turkmenistan.
The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, according to which, given the contribution to strengthening the defense capability of the independent Motherland, conscientious fulfillment of the sacred military duty and great merits in strengthening law and order, maintaining peace in society, as well as in honor of the Day defenders of the Fatherland and in accordance with paragraph 15 of article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, a group of military personnel and employees of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country were awarded military and special ranks, as well as class ranks.
