President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Respected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in turn, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, cordially congratulated the Tajik colleague and, in his person, all the fraternal people of Tajikistan on this significant event in the history of bilateral relations.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the active political interaction between the two countries, which is being successfully strengthened both at the bilateral and multilateral levels, primarily within the framework of authoritative international and regional structures. Interstate trade and economic relations are also developing dynamically, which is greatly facilitated by the activities of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Tajik Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
An important factor in the rapprochement of the peoples of the two states, the strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between them is the established fruitful dialogue in the cultural, scientific and educational spheres.
