The first online madrasah in Russian was launched in Tatarstan

Russian-speaking Muslims from different parts of the world will be able to receive knowledge on the basics of Islam in a virtual madrasah. The educational project in Russian was launched by the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan. Mufti of the Republic Kamil Samigullin told about this at a press conference in Kazan, islam-today.ru reports.
“The online madrasah will help those who, for various reasons, cannot study face-to-face in a mosque or madrasah easily and quickly get an elementary religious education,” the mufti said.
The new resource offers to learn Islamic law, the Koran, Arabic, as well as the history of Islam in Russia and the biography of the Prophet Muhammad. The course consists of 200 lessons.
Recall that in 2021, the project of the first online madrasah in the Tatar language was launched in Tatarstan. The educational institution works on an educational platform. For convenience, access to classes can be accessed through the application for smartphones.
