The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree
In order to further increase the volume of cotton production based on the rational use of land, water, agricultural machinery and mineral fertilizers, the qualitative implementation of agrotechnical measures, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, instructing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the khyakimliks of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats:
To ensure the production of appropriate volumes of cotton in Turkmenistan in 2023 by organizing the work of tenants, land users and landowners at a high level;
Place cotton seeds in etraps, taking into account soil and climatic conditions, according to the plan approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.
Based on the conclusion of a contract with cotton producers, it is prescribed to provide them with the following terms in accordance with agrotechnical standards:
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection with the necessary volumes of high-quality cotton seeds, technical services related to preparing land for sowing, caring for crops and harvesting cotton;
the State Committee for Water Resources - with the corresponding volumes of irrigation water;
To the state concern "Türkmenhimiýa" - the corresponding volumes of fertilizers.
