The Azerbaijani ferry of the Ro-Pax "Zarif Aliyev" type made its first voyage to the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
The vessel was built by order of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC at the Baku Shipyard (ASCO). Its length is 154.5 meters, width — 17.7 meters, and height — 7.5 meters. The vessel can simultaneously carry 100 passengers, 56 tank cars or 50 trucks.
The vessel, equipped with modern equipment, has a cargo elevator, a helipad, a ship stabilization system during waves.
