Uzbekistan will purchase Turkmen oil through the Petronas company

In 2023, Uzbekistan will start buying Turkmen oil through the company "Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd". The corresponding agreement was reached during a meeting of representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC with a Petronas delegation on a working visit to the republic.

The supply program of "black gold" for use at the plant will be developed in the near future, as reported on the official website of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

A subsidiary of the Malaysian Petronas is one of the operators of oil and gas production on the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea.

The parties also considered the prospects of cooperation between the Bukhara Oil Refinery and the production enterprises of the company "PETRONAS Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd".
