A meeting of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan with the participation of the public has opened in Ashgabat

A joint session of the bicameral Parliament of Turkmenistan – Milli Gengesh, with the participation of public representatives, opened in the capital's Maslahat Palace, TDH reports.
During the meeting, it is planned to discuss the initiatives put forward by the chairman of the upper chamber of the Turkmen parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the reorganization of the Halk Maslahaty into the highest representative body of the people's power.
The meeting will also discuss the reorganization of the Turkmen parliament into a unicameral one.
