Serdar Berdimuhamedov called Russia, the USA and China the main partners of Turkmenistan


The Russian Federation, the United States of America and the People's Republic of China are among the top three partner countries of Turkmenistan, follows from the speech of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the expandedmeeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of the heads of the country's diplomatic missions abroad, TDH reports.
Relations with Russia and China are of a strategic nature, and effective economic cooperation has been established with the United States over the years of independence, the Turkmen leader stressed. At the same time, within the framework of bilateral cooperation with foreign countries, Turkmenistan is always guided by its neutral foreign policy and national interests.
The Head of State said that Turkmenistan also attaches great importance to relations with the republics of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan), with neighboring countries — Iran and Afghanistan, as well as with Turkey, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia.
Turkmenistan also plans to increase cooperation with Japan, India, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea and Malaysia.
Great importance is attached to strengthening multilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman. The Head of State also noted the need to take steps to expand cooperation with Israel and Palestine.
Turkmenistan will actively increase cooperation with African countries by establishing diplomatic relations with the States of the continent.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov also said that the Turkmen government will continue to develop cooperation with the European Union and take measures for the effective implementation of joint projects and programs.
