Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired the working meeting by means of digital video conferencing with the participation of Cabinet Deputy Chairman A. Yazmyradov, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and hyakims of the velayats, at which the progress of agricultural work in the regions was considered.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov said to hyakims that it is necessary to carry out the ongoing agricultural work by strictly following the requirements of agrotechnics, and he gave several specific instructions to the khyakims to increase the pace of plowing and leveling of cotton fields in the velayats. In addition, the President of Turkmenistan gave several instructions regarding the control of wheat maintenance in accordance with the norms of agrotechnics.
The President ordered that necessary measures should be taken to ensure proper operation of heating systems of cultural and life facilities in the velayats and uninterrupted supply of electricity, water and natural gas to etraps, cities and towns. Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave relevant instructions regarding the high-quality implementation of construction works on various purpose-built facilities planned to be built in the velayats in accordance with the programs of social and economic development of the country.
Then the President of Turkmenistan addressed Cabinet Deputy Chairman Yazmyradov. The Vice-Premier reported on the seasonal agricultural work being carried out in the velayats of the country.
Listening to the report, the Turkmen leader emphasized the important role of the agricultural sector in ensuring the food security of the country and emphasized the need to carry out the agricultural work, in particular, the maintenance of wheat fields, by strictly following the rules of agrotechnics. The Esteemed President said that necessary efforts should be made to prepare the areas where cotton will be planted for this year's crop and the area where it is planned to plant potato and other vegetable crops and gave relevant instructions to the vice premier in this regard.
