Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the UN global campaign "16 Days of Active Action against Gender-based violence" starts.

This year the campaign is held under the slogan – "Unite! Activism to end violence against women and girls." The symbol of the annual action, which is considered one of the longest in the world, is the orange color as the personification of a future free from violence against women and girls.

You can join the campaign, for example, by sharing your photos, messages and videos demonstrating participation in the initiative on social networks. Thus, the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, together with national partners, has already published a photo on the social network Instagram, demonstrating its commitment to the ideas of the campaign.
