Turkmen dairy companies congratulate citizens on the World Cheese Lovers Day

On January 20, the World Cheese Lovers Day is celebrated, during which everyone is recommended to cook a dish using this unique dairy product, whose history dates back about 8 thousand years. At the moment, the world knows more than 500 types of cheeses and about 2 thousand varieties of this product.
Cheese production has been established in Turkmenistan since the first days of independence. But if earlier the production was mainly done by ordinary farmers, now the country's large dairy companies are successfully producing cheese on an industrial scale.
The largest dairy company of the country Elin sent its congratulations to ORIENT readers and all citizens of Turkmenistan:
"The Elin company has been pleasing the citizens of our country with dairy products for 15 years, being the leader in this segment. We rely on the strategy of saturating the counters of our country with domestically produced goods, and dairy products here are certainly considered one of the key goods forming the “food basket" of the inhabitants of Turkmenistan.
The range of our products is extensive and unites 62 types of dairy products, including 8 types of cheeses, which are produced and sold in all regions of our country and the city of Ashgabat. We will continue to delight our customers and customers with high quality cheeses. We express our gratitude to all our consumers and congratulate them and ORIENT readers on the World Cheese Lovers Day! Thank you for your attention!".
The capital's dairy producer Bal-Gaýmak did not stand aside either:
"Bal Gaýmak, being a young ambitious company, strives to provide lovers of a variety of dairy products of Turkmenistan with high-quality goods straight from our production points. We rely solely on the needs and preferences of the Turkmen consumer, making full use of our accumulated experience.
Cheese, which is produced at our factory, has already become a favorite for citizens of many parts of our country. We carefully monitor the environmental friendliness, safety and availability of not only our cheeses, but also other dairy products that are sent to retail outlets in the capital. We wish all cheese lovers and not only good health and bright gastronomic emotions! Congratulations to all ORIENT readers, cheese lovers and buyers on the International Cheese Lovers Day!".
The team of the company Garpamyk congratulated on the World Cheese Lovers' Day:
"Garpamyk Company congratulates all residents of Turkmenistan and ORIENT readers on the World Cheese Lovers Day and wishes you health and success in your future endeavors!
Cheese is one of the most ancient products that have a special value for immunity and health promotion. Garpamyk will continue to work to ensure that the consumer of our products can purchase the results of our work using environmentally friendly materials and fresh raw materials. We pay special attention to the safety and usefulness of dairy products. The staff of our company once again expresses gratitude to the consumers of our cheese and wishes further prosperity!".
The nutritional value of cheese is simply off the scale: this product is rich in proteins, fats, minerals, almost the entire galaxy of the most famous and necessary vitamins for the body. One of the most famous cheeses in the world is Parmesan hard cheese.
In Turkmenistan, traditionally, cheeses were made not only from cow's milk, but also from camel milk. Now Dutch Gouda cheese is especially popular among Turkmen restaurants and cafes, and housewives, as a rule, use processed cheeses with a fat content of 45%, various cream cheeses, marble cheeses of the cheddar variety, the so-called "Tashkent" cheese. The average price for this product can range from 15 manats and above, depending on the variety and manufacturer. At the same time, the most expensive are exclusive Turkish varieties.
The producers of snacks in Turkmenistan also do not stand aside and enrich their crackers, chips and corn sticks with cheese-flavored additives.
The use of cheese is recommended for those who want to increase immunity, athletes and just a lover of physical activity for muscle building and cell repair. For women, cheese is effective in restoring hair and nails. However, it is worth refraining from this dairy delicacy for hypertensive patients — cheese increases blood pressure.
By the way, this is the same product that has no homeland. Yes, the world-famous cheese was produced in one way or another in all countries and peoples. This also applies to famous Swiss cheese makers with branded cheeses and ordinary Kyrgyz farmers with traditional dry cheese "kurut" — the principle was the same for everyone: milk and rennet enzyme (produced in mammalian pancreas).
Global cheese production is also steadily growing, which indicates the demand for this product. Thus, according to Eurostat, 25.3 million tons of cheese worth a total of $202 billion were produced in 2020 alone. The leader in its manufacture is the USA, Germany and France. The latter is also the leader in cheese consumption per capita — more than 20 kilograms per year per person.
Thus, we make an obvious conclusion — cheese is useful, but not for everyone; it is accessible, diverse and popular, which means it is valuable, both from the point of view of taste and in cultural and historical terms.
