Magtymguly's book of poems will be published in Italian
The poems of the classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Pyragy will be translated and published in Italian. The issues of preparing a new edition were discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Italy Toyli Komekov with the CEO and founder of the "Sandro Teti" publishing house Sandro Teti, and Professor of Turkology – Federico De Renzi.
Having informed the Turkmen diplomat about the ongoing work on the translation of poems, Sandro Teti stressed that it is a great honor for them, the scientists of Turkology in Italy, to prepare the first edition of the work of philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy in Italian.
In the year of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the recognized genius of the word and the spiritual founder of the Turkmen statehood, this publication will contribute to the acquaintance of Italians with the rich culture of the Turkmen people.
