Minnikhanov highlighted promising areas of Turkmen-Tatarstan cooperation


Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov outlined promising areas of business cooperation with Turkmenistan, speaking at the Turkmen-Russian business forum held in Ashgabat, according to the official website of the head of the republic.
Among the new projects is the construction of a container ship for Turkmenistan by the Zelenodolsk Plant named after Gorky, one of the largest shipbuilding enterprises in Russia. Earlier, the plant delivered high-speed passenger vessels to Turkmenistan.
Work is underway on the supply of gas turbine engines by KER-holding. It specializes in engineering, industrial construction and has been operating in Turkmenistan for a long time, actively interacting with Turkmen partners.
"There is considerable potential for developing ties in such areas as oil exploration, oil production, and gas transportation. Automobile, aviation, and shipbuilding, energy, supply of chemical products, pharmaceuticals and medicine, agro-industrial complex and many other areas," the President of Tatarstan noted.
