Bloomberg: Bitcoin may rise in price by 40% in the near future

In the week before January 15, the price of bitcoin increased by 23% and statistics show that after such a sharp increase, the cryptocurrency has every chance to rise even more, by about 40% in 3 months, Bloomberg reports.

The 23% increase in the bitcoin price for the week was the best weekly result since February 2021. Over the past 5 years, nine cases of bitcoin price growth by 20% per week have been recorded.

Bitcoin is strengthening its position amid increasing hopes for the imminent end of the US rate hike cycle.
