On January 19, the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers through the digital network.
Moving on to the agenda of the meeting, the esteemed President addressed the chairwoman of the mejlis of milli genesh Mammedova. Mammedova gave information about the ongoing law enforcement work. As mentioned, the historically important initiative of the Chairman of the Halk maslahaty of milli genesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to transform the milli geensh into one chamber system and to establish the Halk maslahaty of Turkmenistan received great support among the people.
Then the esteemed President gave the floor to the deputy chairman of the Halk maslahaty of milli genesh Babayev. Babayev gave information about preparations for the joint meeting of the halk maslahaty and the meeting of the milli genesh of Turkmenistan to be held on January 21, 2023 with the participation of public representatives.
Then the esteemed President addressed Vice Premier of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov. The Vice-Premier reported on the activities carried out by the members of the financial and economic complex in order to fulfill the priority tasks set before this system. Also, information was given about the relevant documents that were developed, pre-agreed with the head units in the prescribed manner and approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
Commenting on the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of ensuring the successful implementation of state and national programs aimed at further socio-economic development of the Motherland. The esteemed President signed the relevant Resolution and sent it to the Vice-Premier via the digital system and instructed to monitor the timely and proper execution of the planned assignments by the ministries and departments.
Then, Vice Premier Sh. Abdrahmanov reported on the state of affairs in the fuel and energy sector under his control, in particular, in the Turkmennebit state concern.
Commenting on the report, the esteemd President emphasized the importance of continuously implementing programs aimed at increasing the industrial and export capacity of the fuel and energy sector, modernizing its components through the use of new technologies and advanced developments, further diversifying the sector, oil products that are in great demand in the world market, imported from abroad. It was emphasized the need to increase the production of substitute products and relevant instructions were given to the Vice-Premier.
Vice Premier Ch.Purchekov reported on the state of affairs in the structures under his control.
Commenting on the report, the esteemed President emphasized the need to thoroughly study and further develop local raw materials used in the production of products that substitute goods imported from abroad, and instructed the Vice-Premier to continue the work in this direction.
Then Vice Premier B. Atdayev reported on the ongoing work on the further development of the textile industry sector.
Then Vice Premier M. Mammedova reported on the preparations for holding the Culture Days of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.
A representative delegation of cultural figures and masters of art of the friendly state will visit Ashgabat to participate in the creative action scheduled for February 12-14 this year.
Then Vice Premier N. Amannepesov reported on the preparations for holding international scientific-practical conferences in higher educational institutions of the country through a digital system.
So, in commemoration of the Year of “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, a conference is scheduled for February 15-16 at the Oguzkhan Engineering and Technology University, for February 24 at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakaev, for April 26 at the Institute of Economics and Management , on March 15 - at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics.
Then Vice-Premier of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov reported on the preparations for the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin planned to Turkmenistan on January 19-20.
Summarizing with the chairmanship, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the next highest organizational level to prepare for the visit of the unpleasant representative of the Russian Federation and, in general, for the event involving the consideration of the delegation of the Russian Federation in our country.
Then, the CEO of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, M.Chakyev reported on the ongoing work on improving the laws governing the work of the national transport and communications complex in accordance with the requirements of the time within the framework of socio-economic reforms. In this regard, a draft resolution was presented for consideration by the head of state.
The head of state signed the presented document and sent it to the head of the Agency through the digital system and instructed to ensure the proper execution of the document.
Summing up the reports, the head of state gave the vice-premiers relevant instructions.
Summing up the results of the meeting, the head of state noted that a number of topical issues were considered today, documents were adopted, consistent decisions on the development of the national economy were adopted.
