Russian pianist-virtuoso Yuri Bogdanov will give a concert in Ashgabat
On September 19, Honored Artist of Russia, pianist Yuri Bogdanov will perform in Ashgabat. A concert of classical music will be held at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater.
Professor of the Russian Academy of Music named after the Gnesins, soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic Academy Symphony Orchestra, laureate of international competitions and art director of many cultural projects, Bogdanov will present his concert programme in Ashgabat together with domra player Daria Karpalyuk and soloists Tsvetana Omelchuk and Elizaveta Antonova.
During a concert the pianist-virtuoso will perform works by Ferenc Liszt, Fryderyk Chopin and others. It should be noted that the vocal compositions that the Turkmen audience will have a chance to hear will include Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s romances.
