Trading on SCRMET: low-sulfur heating oil is sold for export
On Tuesday, January 10, 4 deals totaling $11.9 million and 11.2 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from the Virgin Islands and the United Arab Emirates purchased a total of 30 thousand tons of low-sulfur heating oil for $11.9 million. The cost of production was estimated at $398.50 per ton.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 1 thousand tons of total petroleum coke for 11.2 million TMT.
