Turkmenistan Airlines has reduced the validity period of tickets for international flights canceled due to the pandemic by a month. Now they can be exchanged until February 28, 2023, Turkmen Airlines told ORIENT.

Previously, it was possible to extend the period of tickets purchased before March 2020 up to May 25 2023.

The ticket can be exchanged for a new one, depending on the destination country. For example, if a passenger has a ticket for a cancelled flight from Ashgabat to St. Petersburg, he can exchange it for a ticket from Ashgabat to Moscow or Kazan for free.

It will not be possible to exchange tickets for flights to those countries with which Turkmenistan has not yet restored air communication. At the same time, from March 1, all passengers will have the opportunity to return money for previously purchased tickets without withholding funds.
