A madrasah at the Main Mosque of the Ahal region will appear in the city of Arkadag
Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed to build an educational institution — a madrasah, at the mosque being built in the new center of the Ahal region, TDH reports.
There was also information about the organization of a sadak on the day of laying the foundation of a new mosque, the date of the start of construction of which will be determined by elders and experts in this field.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov earlier initiated the creation of major mosques in all regions of Turkmenistan, as well as in the capital, where new large religious complexes under the jurisdiction of the Turkmen muftiate are already functioning.
The establishment of the first madrasah in the country — a religious school — is another important step in the preservation and enhancement of national traditions and cultural values of the Turkmen people.
