Inter-municipal cooperation was discussed by the Consul General of Turkmenistan and the Mayor of Kazan
The interaction between the municipalities of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan, as well as the establishment of twinning relations between Ashgabat and Kazan were discussed by the Consul General of Turkmenistan Guich Garayev and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the website of the Turkmen Consulate General reports.
The sides noted the spiritual and cultural closeness of the residents of the two cities and agreed to increase the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan.
During the meeting, Metshin got acquainted with the presentation of the city of Arkadak and stressed that a colossal and time-consuming work had been done to create it. Garayev invited the Mayor of Kazan to pay an official visit to Turkmenistan, including to visit the city of Arkadag.
