The final document of the Ashgabat Conference was adopted as an official document at the session of the UN General Assembly
The final document of the International Conference "Dialogue is a guarantee of peace", held in Ashgabat on December 11, was published as an official document of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the official website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The document, enshrined under No. 14 of the "Culture of Peace" agenda, includes commitments to settle disputes by peaceful means and methods, and also notes the need to implement global UN strategies and programs, in particular, the joint implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda for the period up to 2030.
The work of the International Conference "Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace" has become an important platform for discussing ways of peaceful settlement of conflicts and promoting preventive diplomacy.
