President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Turkmenistan
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Turkmenistan Luiji Ferrari.
Expressing gratitude for finding time for a meeting, the diplomat presented his credentials to the esteemed President and conveyed the warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Italy.
President of Turkmenistan congratulated the plenipotentiary representative of the friendly country on his appointment to this high diplomatic position, and expressed his best wishes to the President of the Republic of Italy.
As noted, the development of a long-term partnership with Turkmenistan fully meets the foreign policy strategy of Italy and the interests of the EU countries as a whole.
At the same time, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the opportunities of both countries can be used more widely. Taking into account the implementation of large national and international projects in the fields of fuel and energy, transport, agriculture and textile industry, these opportunities have to be actively used. Also, the importance was also emphasized of strengthening cultural-humanitarian relations between the Turkmen and Italian peoples.
