Turkmen taekwondo competitor - bronze prize-winner of the World championship in Poland
In the 21st ITF Taekwon–Do World Championship which was completed in the Bulgarian Plovdiv Annamyrat Goshaniyazov from Turkmenistan became third in individual teul.
The sportsman displayed an accurate performance of all given techniques and shared the third step of the pedestal of awarding with his opponent from Japan. The second place went to a sportsman from Greece, and first – to North Korea.
Within the margins of the championship the 27th ITF Congress was also held. At the plenary session Aydogdy Atabayev, head coach of the national team of Turkmenistan was presented with an award - Star of "Outstanding coach» for his contribution to the development of Taekwon–Do.
Use of the new IT solution in the sphere of refereeing of single combats became one of the interesting novelties of the Championship. The strong likeness here and work of much talked VAR in football – an application is also intended for fixing of disputed points on tatami and demonstrations of right (or wrong ) decision by the umpire.
