The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Iran had a telephone conversation

Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan discussed "issues of mutual interest" in a telephone conversation on Sunday. This is reported on the website of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

The two high-ranking diplomats exchanged views on the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran in all areas. The Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, for his part, stressed the need to continue negotiations in order to expand bilateral ties.
