CIS media contest opens acceptance of applications


The contest, held under the auspices of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member States, is designed to promote the expansion of the information and socio-cultural space of international cooperation, popularization of law enforcement, cultural, aesthetic, spiritual and moral education of young people and the formation of a positive image of employees of the internal affairs (police) of the CIS member states.
Nominations approved for the competition in 2023:
― "Faces of friends" - the nomination refers to the portrait genre. Works are accepted for consideration, first of all, revealing the character, the image of a person, through his unique emotions, facial expressions, gestures, reflecting the attitude of the hero to the outside world.
― "I have the honor!" - works that reveal the characteristic aspects of the service of an employee of the internal affairs bodies, the reflection of patriotism, a "sense of elbow" and corporate culture in the work.
― "Nature has no bad weather" - pictures and videos demonstrating the beauty, grandeur, versatility and inimitable uniqueness of the pristine nature of the Commonwealth countries, natural phenomena and landscapes in all their diversity.
The first stage of the competition will be held from January 10 to June 30 and includes sending applications for participation, acceptance and selection of works.
At the second stage, from July 1 to August 31, the competition commission will evaluate the submitted works and determine the winners.
Citizens of the Commonwealth states can take part in the competition without age restrictions and professional affiliation.
