Honoring the winners of the Gulbab Children's Prize took place on Thursday in Ashgabat at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. 66 gifted children from all regions of the country received special diplomas and valuable gifts.

According to the rules of the competition, the winners of intellectual and creative contests, subject Olympiads and sports competitions of national and international scale – anyone under the age of 18 can participate in it.

In Turkmenistan, the Gulbab children's competition has been held for more than 30 years (since 1992), and the award itself is named after the talented boy Gulbab, who from the age of 3 masterfully played the dutar and sang songs of his own composition.

The organizers of the annual creative competition are the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, which held a festive concert in honor of the laureates. Famous vocalists and choreographic groups performed, as well as the winners of the Gulbab Prize.
