Magic world of acting: what are Ashgabat theaters preparing for the opening?
Autumn is approaching, which means that Ashgabat theaters soon will open their doors for guests. The audience waits with impatience for the surprise that art workers prepare this time. During the vacations and summer holidays, many people had time to starve for the fabulous world that opens to the public just behind the theater curtain.
Among the first, Main Drama Theater “will carry” baton in the new theater season opening. On August 31, a performance “Sounds of dutar”, staged by the famous producer Kakajan Ashirov, will be shown at 19.00.
At the same time, the comedy “Younger daughter-in-law” will be played on the stage of the National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli.
Student Theatre named after Mollanepes is preparing a humorous evening, consisting of a variety of acts. The show is scheduled on September 1, at 19.00.
Russian Drama Theater named after A. Pushkin will delight young admirers of art. On September 1, the “Thumbelina” performance on the eponymous work of Andersen will take place at 10.30 and 12.00. The producer is Arslan Berdyev.
Also at 19.00, Chekhov’s classic play “Seagull” is expected to show on the stage of the theater, the producer of the play is Ashir Rakhmanov. The premiere of “Seagull” was held in June, successfully completing the previous theatrical season.
On September 1, at 12 o’clock, the Puppet Theater of Turkmenistan will show a play “Yartygulak”, based on folk tales about a little boy.
On September 7, Youth Theater named after Alp Arslan will give a performance
“Secret challenge” – a touching story about love, about strength testing the feelings of main characters.
