Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov left for the People's Republic of China on a state visit.
The esteemed President arrived at the international airport of the capital for the state visit to the People's Republic of China and had a conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan Xian Naichen. The extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the friendly country noted that the Chinese side attaches great importance to the high-level meeting to be held in Beijing, and wished that the esteemed President's state visit, which will open a new page in the annals of intergovernmental relations, will be filled with great success.
The esteemed President expressed confidence that the results of this visit will give a powerful impetus to the further development of bilateral cooperation. Officials of the country and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Turkmenistan saw off the esteemed President of Turkmenistan from the airport. A few hours later, the esteemed President's plane landed at Shoudo International Airport, the capital of the People's Republic of China. At the airport, the head of state was warmly welcomed by the officials of the friendly country.
On January 6, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will have an official meeting with the head of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, in Beijing. During the meeting, several documents will be signed.

In accordance with the decree, the number of graduate, doctoral candidates who will be admitted to graduate and doctoral studies in scientific areas, as well as candidates for scientific degrees and the number of residents in clinical residency in 2023, was approved.
