The website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan summed up the results of the completed football season, in which the player of FC Kopetdag Begench Akmamedov became the best football player of Turkmenistan. The 24-year-old midfielder scored 19 goals.
Ahal striker Didar Durdyev was recognized as the top scorer of the Turkmenistan Championship – 2022. He has scored 27 goals.
In turn, the coach of the team Mergen Orazov was awarded the title of the best coach of the country of the 2022 season. Under his leadership, "Ahal" won the Championship of Turkmenistan for the first time in its history and became the owner of the Cup of Turkmenistan. The goalkeeper of "Ahal" Rasul Charyev, who became the best goalkeeper of the championship, did not leave any chances in his nomination.
The Fair Play prize, which is awarded to the team with the best disciplinary performance, went to Merv this year.
The vote of sports journalists and representatives of the Higher Football League of Turkmenistan also determined the 22 best football players of the 2022 season, both the first and second teams.
The best players of the first team were the goalkeeper of "Ahal" Rasul Charyev, defenders Mekan Saparov ("Altyn Asyr"), Abdy Bashimov, Shohrat Soyunov, Ata Geldiyev (all "Ahal"); midfielders Mirza Beknazarov, Arslanmurad Amanov (both "Ahal"), Ahmet Atayev, Altymurad Annadurdiyev (both "Altyn Asyr"); as well as forwards Didar Durdyev ("Ahal") and Begench Akmamedov ("Kopetdag").
Mammed Orazmamedov ("Altyn Asyr") — goalkeeper, Zafar Babajanov, Yhlas Toyjanov (both "Altyn Asyr"), Serdar Bayramov ("Kopetdag"), Ibraim Mammedov ("Ahal") — defenders scored in the second team; Ilya Tamurkin, Elman Tagaev ("Ahal"), Mekan Ashyrov ("Shagadam"), Murad Annaev ("Altyn Asyr") — midfielders; Alibek Abdurahmanov ("Merv"), Kerim Hojaberdyev ("Shagadam") — forwards.
