Entering the New Year with good hopes and great faith - from the President's address
Turkmen leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov, congratulating his compatriots on the New Year, listed the important events of the past year, including the opening of a number of large objects of transport, energy, medical, social infrastructure, residential areas, the March 12 presidential elections in Turkmenistan, the decisions of the Khalk Maslakhaty, the adoption of a social -economic development of the country for the next 30 years.
The head of state named the key successes of Turkmenistan: fundamental transformations in agriculture, achievements in the oil and gas, transport and communication, trade and business sectors of the economy, in the field of healthcare, the development of physical culture and sports, the modernization of the education system, the implementation of foreign policy and other areas, work on which will be continued in the same vein.
“On January 1, 2023, we will increase salaries, pensions and benefits, scholarships for students and trainees by 10%. This is a continuation of the work to improve the welfare and social security of our native people,” the President also noted.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished that the New Year, which we are celebrating with good hopes and bright aspirations, becomes a year of peace, great success and significant labor achievements in the interests of the country and people.
“May the New Year be a year of peace, happiness, great accomplishments and abundance! In the New Year, I wish prosperity and solidarity, endless happiness to your sacred family hearths!” the head of state said.
