Turkmenbashi port transported copper concentrate from Uzbekistan to Europe


The Turkmenbashi International Seaport has transported 91 containers of copper concentrate to the Baku International Seaport as part of the multimodal route "Countries of the Asia-Pacific region – China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan – Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey – Europe", Azerbaijani Railways reports.
The transfer of cargo sent from Uzbekistan to Europe was carried out with the help of a feeder vessel "Balkan". Then the cargo will arrive at the Bulgarian port of Burgas.
Previously ORIENT reported about the dispatch of the first container train from Uzbekistan to Europe as part of the "Middle Corridor" (Trans-Caspian route). Transportation of the designated cargo takes place within the framework of the project of the multimodal route CASCA + (Central Asia – South Caucasus – Anatolia +).
