Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev exchanged congratulations on the upcoming New Year over the phone, wishing 2023 a successful and prosperous year for the two countries and their fraternal peoples.
During the conversation, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty and the President of Uzbekistan summed up the results of the outgoing year and discussed the development of diplomatic and trade cooperation in the new year.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the importance of further intensification of trade and economic relations, which is one of the priority areas of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation.
