Erdogan nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (Parliament) Mustafa Shentop said that he had nominated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to resolve the crisis in Ukraine. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Star newspaper.

“I nominated President Erdogan for the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to bring peace between Russia and Ukraine. I have an application. Applications from other countries will be submitted,” the Star newspaper quoted Shentop as saying.
