Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of a number of new facilities in the “Gurtly” district in Ashgabat
On Wednesday, in the capital's residential complex "Gurtly", the grand opening of a number of new facilities - residential buildings, a complex of buildings for economic and cultural purposes took place, - Orient source says.
The ceremony was attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as heads of the country's government, parliament, law enforcement agencies, diplomats from foreign embassies accredited in Ashgabat, representatives of international organizations, the public and the media.
On the eve of the holiday, the new buildings became a wonderful New Year's gift for the townspeople. According to the urban planning project, they were located on an area of 91.06 hectares, and they were built by 40 local companies commissioned by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country. In October 2018, the President of Turkmenistan signed the corresponding order on the arrangement of this promising and dynamically developing district of the capital.
Three years later, 62 new multi-apartment buildings with a height of 4 floors, a secondary school for 320 children, a modern kindergarten for 160 children, as well as shopping and cultural and entertainment centers, a large market and 10 various shops have “grown” here.
Housewarming on the eve of the New Year holiday will be celebrated by 3070 happy families, who were handed the keys to their furnished apartments that day. They will become new residents of the modern residential complex "Gurtly", which literally in recent years has become one of the best and developing areas of the Turkmen capital.
