The number of citizens of Turkmenistan who visited Azerbaijan as tourists in November 2022 increased 5.1 times compared to the same month of the previous year, Trend news agency reports with reference to the State Agency of Azerbaijan for Tourism.
A total of 1600 Turkmen citizens visited Azerbaijan in November 2022. In November 2021, only 308 tourists from Turkmenistan visited this country. According to the agency, Turkmenistan entered the top 15 countries in terms of the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan in November 2022.
A total of 135370 foreigners visited Azerbaijan in November this year, which is 54% more than in the same period last year.
