Customs offices of Turkmenistan and Russia to strengthen cooperation in personnel training
Members of the working group on the implementation of the Joint Action Plan between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Federal Customs Service of Russia discussed the issue of signing a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of personnel training, according to the website of the Turkmen Customs Department.
The members of the working group also considered the possibility of organizing a simplified procedure for customs operations when moving goods and vehicles between the two countries, cooperation in combating customs offenses.
Currently, a protocol on the exchange of documents and information on the customs value of goods transported between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan is in force between the customs departments of Turkmenistan and Russia.
Also, within the framework of the memorandum between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, statistical data on mutual trade are exchanged.
