Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reprimanded Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrakhmanov, who oversees the oil and gas sector, and Batyr Amanov, chairman of the “Turkmengas” State Concern.

The reprimands were announced "for improper performance of official duties, shortcomings in work" during a government meeting via video link on Friday, which discussed the results of the work of industries for 11 months of the year.
