Bidding on SCRMET: LNG and eco-gasoline were in high demand
On Wednesday, December 21, 19 deals totaling $15.7 million were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Entrepreneurs from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased liquefied natural gas ($433 per ton) and ECO-93 gasoline produced from blue fuel ($705 per ton).
3 thousand tons of LNG for $1.2 million and 20 thousand tons of gasoline for a total of $14.1 million were sold for export.
On the same day, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and Kyrgyzstan purchased 71.2 thousand kg of smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products for $391.6 thousand during the auction.
