The Championship of Turkmenistan on basketball among youths started in Mary

The basketball championship of Turkmenistan among boys under 16 started in Mary on Thursday, December 22. Men's and women's teams from five regions and Ashgabat take part in the tournament.
The winners of the championship will form the main team of Turkmenistan in basketball to participate in international tournaments.
Matches will be held according to the rules of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the National Basketball Federation.
Bakhtiyar Ibragimov, a FIBA international class referee, will officiate the meetings of this tournament. The championship will end on December 27th.
