Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the projects of the facilities of the new Akhal center
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the new administrative center of the Akhal region, where he held an extended meeting of the government on Wednesday, and before that he got acquainted with the progress of work on the grandiose new building. Design projects of architectural and other structures of the new city were presented to the attention of the head of state.
The head of the State Committee for the construction of the administrative center of the Akhal region Deriyageldi Orazov reported to the President on the state of affairs at the facilities under construction.
Among the projects presented are a flagpole on the main city square, a regional administration building, a local history museum, as well as engineering structures, parks and squares. The President paid special attention to the creation of green zones as an important component of the ecological well-being and comfort of local residents.
Within the framework of the "smart city" concept, smart home systems, digital networks for medical, commercial, educational, banking, transport services and other numerous services of a modern format will be introduced here. Electric buses and electric taxi cars will also run in the city.
